Information You Submit
Entries made in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, go to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Sun Valley People Search does not retain a copy of those queries on its own servers. When you send a message, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this data in aggregate to keep the site working and to understand which pages help visitors. We may use cookies or similar technologies for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
We use the data described above to operate the site, fix problems, measure traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell a list of our visitors. We do not build profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to the Washoe County Recorder, county courts and offices, Nevada agencies, library collections, or outside search services. Each destination controls its own privacy practices. Information entered there is governed by that service’s policy, not this one. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a third-party company.
Who May Receive Information
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
Information Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Nevada Privacy Choices
Nevada NRS 603A.300 through 603A.360 gives eligible consumers a verified way to direct covered operators and data brokers not to sell covered information. This is a no-sale right, not a general right to delete all data. A covered business ordinarily has 60 days to respond and may take a 30-day extension with notice. Sun Valley People Search does not sell a visitor list. You may still use the Contact page to ask us to check our contact mailbox and server logs for information you supplied.
Government source records are separate. Nevada’s no-sale process does not erase a deed, court record, voter entry, or other record held by a public office. Questions about those materials must go to the custodian, such as the Washoe County Recorder, the relevant court clerk, or another Nevada agency. A request sent here cannot amend the government’s copy.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
